Bubble Pictures - Add food coloring to bubble mixture. Let kids blow bubbles onto a wall outside or on an easel with paper.
Butterfly Paint Prints - Cut a large butterfly shape from construction paper. Fold butterfly in half and then put paint on one side. Put sides together; both butterfly wings will have paint prints.
Spring Tubes - Using tissue or paper towel rolls, let children decorate the tubes with different kinds of materials like tissue paper, fabric, beans, sitckers etc. Hang from ceiling when complete.
Springtime Cupcake Flowers - Glue pastel color cupcake cups onto paper. Add a green construction paper stem and a circle for the middle of the flower.
Coffee filter Flowers - Drop different colors of food coloring onto coffee filters and watch the pretty desigs appear.
Egg Shell Art - Remove the shells from several hard boiled eggs. Dip the broken shells into egg eye, let dry and then glue on construction paper to make a collage.
Spring Sand Vases - Get different sizes and shapes of glass bottles and jars; long neck vases work best. You'll need white glue, a paint brush, paper to cover the table, and different colors of craft sand. Paint the white glue on the outside of the bottle either all over or in a design such as a squiggle line etc. Next, take a spoonful of sand and sprinkle on the white glue on the jar. Add a decorative ribbon or flower and you have a lovely Spring gift for mom or a friend.
