Toddler Barnyard Turkey Pictures
You'll need a large sheet of white paper. Make turkey handprints by painting fingers and palm brown and thumb red. Press hands down on paper leaving turkey prints. After the paint dries, add eyes, beaks, legs, and feet with markers. Hang the paper on a wall, and add barnyard shapes like barns, fence, sun etc. to make a farm mural.
Toddlers can Learn to Weave
Use a hole punch to make holes 1/4 inch apart around the edge of a plastic lid. Tie a piece of yarn to one of the holes and wrap the other end of the yarn with tape to make a needle. Toddlers will love to weave the yarn around the lid. You can also use 2 paper plates placed face to face, filled with beans a make a tamborine.
Leaf Turkeys
Cut a turkey shape out of brown construction paper and then glue the turkey shapes onto white or yellow construction paper. Let toddlers add eyes with markers and then glue on leaves that they collected to make turkey tails.
Potato Prints
Cut brown paper bags into large potato shapes. Make stamps out of real potatoes in small shapes. Let toddlers dip the potatoes into the paint to use as stamps and make designs on their paper potato shapes.
Pin the Feather on the Turkey
Draw a turkey shape on a large piece of paper. Hang the paper on a wall at your toddlers' eye level. Cut out a turkey feather shape and let your toddler have fun pinning the feather on the turkey.
Snacktime Turkey
Scoop the fruit from the center of an orange half. Dice the orange along with 1/4 apple and 1/4 banana. Add some chopped nuts with the fruit. Fill the empty orange halves with the mixture. Add a toothpick for a neck, a round carrot slice for a head, and half a toothpick for a beak. Put two celery leaves in the back of the cup for feathers. Serve your fruit cup turkey on a bed of lettuce.
